📊 April U.S. CPI data is out! Inflation surprises to the upside YoY CPI came in at 3.8% in April, above the expected 3.7% and previous 3.3%. MoM rose 0.6%, in line with expectations. Core CPI YoY: 2.8% — above the expected 2.7% and prior 2.6%, hitting a 7-month high. Core CPI MoM: 0.4%, also above expectations.
