Note:

  • Make sure the name on your OKX account matches the name on your bank account for a smooth withdrawal transaction.

  • We'll notify you when the withdrawal amount is sent from OKX. It usually takes up to 3 business days for your bank to receive the funds, but the actual timing may depend on your bank.

Why can't I withdraw all of my funds via ACH bank transfer?

When you deposit funds via bank transfer (ACH) on OKX, the amount is credited to your account immediately. However, these funds may not be available for withdrawal right away.

ACH transfers processing between the banks can take up to 3 days to fully complete. During this period, a temporary security hold is placed on your deposit to allow OKX to verify the transaction with your bank, ensuring the security and legitimacy of the transfer.

Once the verification is complete and the funds have cleared, the hold will be released, and you'll be able to withdraw the funds without restrictions.

If you'd like to know when you can withdraw your funds, you may check it under your deposit details.

Note: in some cases, we may enforce an additional hold of up to 15 calendar days for risk management purposes. This is to help protect users and the platform from fraud, scams, and unauthorized activity.

Bank-linking attempts can fail during OKX's routine security checks, even if your bank shows the account as connected. This can happen with any bank.

If linking fails:

  • Try linking a different bank account.

  • Try again after a few hours, or the next day.

  • Use Wire transfer or crypto withdrawal instead.

Note: wire transfer withdrawals require you to first make a wire deposit from the same bank account before you can withdraw to it.

10. Why was my withdrawal reversed?

Withdrawals are reversed and credited back to your OKX account if your bank rejects the transaction — commonly because your linked bank account details are outdated or the account has been unlinked from Plaid. Relink your bank account and keep it linked until you see the transaction on your bank statements.

No. Support can't override Plaid's eligibility checks or manually link an account.

12. Is there a fee for wire withdrawals?

Yes, wire transfer withdrawals include a $30 fee.

13. Why can’t I withdraw my money to any of my linked bank accounts?

If none of your linked bank accounts are working for withdrawal, don't worry — this is almost always something on the account side rather than a problem with your bank link. Here are the most likely reasons:

  • Your funds might still be settling — recently deposited cash could take a few days (sometimes longer due to extra security checks) before it's available to withdraw, even though it already shows up as available to trade.

  • There may be a required task or review pending — things like an identity verification refresh or a compliance check can temporarily pause withdrawals until they're completed. Check your Profile and settings page for any outstanding tasks.

  • Your bank accounts may have gotten unlinked from Plaid — if none of them show as actively connected anymore, you'll just need to relink one to get going again.

  • Your eligibility for cash withdrawals may have changed — this feature is only available in certain states, so if something changed with your verified location or identity verification status, it could affect access.

  • There could be brief scheduled maintenance — worth a quick check of the OKX Status page or any announcement banner on your withdrawal screen to rule this out.

If you've checked all of these and you're still stuck, reach out to OKX Assistant so we can take a closer look at your account.
